22. Yuxing and Prof. Liang attended the 2026 Membranes: Materials and Processes GRC in New London, New Hampshire, August 2026. Prof. Liang presented a poster on "Stress-Driven Formation of Crumpled Polyamide Nanofiltration Membranes"21. Prof. Liang's Group hosted two high school students, Ethan and Kai, in the lab for a one-week research activity via the OSU SESEY program, July 2026
20. Maoshui, Yuxing, and Prof. Liang attended the 2026 international congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes in San Antonio, Texas, from July 18th to July 24th. Maoshui gave a talk on "A Sustainable Method of Recycling End-of-Life Aromatic Polyamide Membrane", Prof. Liang gave a talk on "Stress-Driven Formation of Crumpled Polyamide Nanofiltration Membranes", Yuxing also presented this work on a poster.
19. Prof. Liang's Group visited the City of Lebanon Drinking Water Membrane Treatment Plant, which uses advanced ultrafiltration technology to treat drinking water from the South Santiam River, July 2026

17. Diego has successfully defended his master’s thesis on June 3rd, marking a historic milestone as the first graduate student to graduate from Prof. Liang’s research group at Oregon State University (OSU). Diego joined the lab in the summer of 2025 following his first-year research rotation. Despite overcoming numerous challenges during his graduate studies, he earned two scholarships and completed his thesis work within two years. His seminal research is currently being prepared for journal submission. In addition to his academic success, Diego has secured an internship with David Evans and Associates in Corvallis, Oregon. Congratulations, Diego!
